What car do you need?

I live in Russia where an automobile is still an expensive item, so I take a bus when I need to go somewhere. But in USA and European countries many families have more then one auto.

What do you prefer: sport car or mini-van? I think, it depends on your family size. Young people like speed and power. Parents need reliable spacious vehicle for big family.

Men and women prefer different cars. For men an auto is a symbol of power and prestige. For women safety is a major factor. Space for growing families is essential in many cases.

When your teen-age child get driving licence, an auto may be a great lesson in responsibility. Teenagers who pay their car's running costs (gas, car insurance, etc.), have good incentive to drive carefully.
